Book 1 of the amiverse chronicles
Blistering heat waves scorch Cedarville, rivers vanish, and smoke smothers the sky. When four teens are pulled through a portal into the Amiverse, a realm mysteriously connected to their own where they discover that both worlds are being consumed by the same relentless drought.
In the Amiverse, they meet Orin, the Steward, who reveals the truth: Malrick, a fallen guardian, has cut off the life‑giving flow of Mote, the energy that sustains every living thing in both realms. To restore balance, the teens must uncover the source of this corruption before it spreads beyond repair.
Armed with magical tools, they set out to seek the Spirit Tree’s wisdom, navigate a treacherous thorn maze, and face Ember Wolves twisted by Malrick’s dark power. Illusions rise from smoke to test their courage and unity but to save both worlds, they must find a way to restore Mote before everything turns to ash.

Three months after saving Cedarwood and the Amiverse from drought, the friends face a new catastrophe as hurricanes and floods devastate their town and sweep across the country. This time they are joined by Ethan, whose unique abilities will be crucial to their success. Guided by Orin’s raven, Quill, they return to the Cave of Echoes, where Jayden’s harmonica reopens the portal to the parallel universe.
In the Amiverse, Orin, the Steward, reveals that Malrick has returned and unleashed a Storm Amplifier, a towering device that drains the flow of Mote and fuels unending storms.
Equipped with enchanted gifts and sailing a magical skiff, the friends face twisted water creatures, storm-born dragons, and relentless waves. To save both worlds, they must find and destroy the Storm Amplifier before everything is swept away.

A year has passed since their last adventure, and Cedarwood feels ordinary again until thick pollution clouds the skies and the air turns poisonous. When their Amulets begin to glow, the friends realize the danger is connected to Malrick’s spreading corruption in the Amiverse. Summoned again by Quill to the Cave of Echoes, they are joined by Ethan, whose arrival becomes key to their mission’s success.
In the Amiverse, nothing is as it was. Swamps reek of poison, the ground splits apart, and trees wither into dust. At the center of the chaos stands Malrick’s hive, rising high above the decaying landscape and spewing dark Murk into the sky.
The air seethes with danger as monstrous, corrupted rats tunnel through the realm, spreading the Murk wherever they go. To save both worlds, the friends must confront Malrick’s growing power at its source before the Amiverse collapses and Cedarwood becomes its next victim.

A series of reading comprehension books will be developed at a grade 3.5 level. These books will feature themes and topics that reflect the interests of students ages 10–15, providing engaging, age‑appropriate content while building essential reading skills.
